Match the lock to the door leaf and the traffic, not to the price list.
Three things decide whether a lockset fits: the door thickness, the backset the door is already prepped for, and the function required by the room. Getting the function wrong is the most common reason a carton comes back — a store-function body will not behave like a toilet-function one even though both fit the same hole.

All three name the same family. The trade writes cylindrical lock; the counter hears cylinder lock or knob lock; the lock cylinder itself is the keyed barrel sitting inside the knob. It is the bored-door pattern — two round holes through the leaf, a knob each side — and it is the volume line here: seventeen codes across the standard bodies (6871-AC/SS, 6872-SS/BK, 6873-SS, 6874-SS) and the heavy duty tier (8222-SS, 8222-AC, 8225-AC, 67800-SS, 67800-AC, 67800-BM, 8871-SS, 8871-AC, A527-SS, A527-AC, A-86200-SS/SP, A-87300-SB/PB, A-87600-US10B).
What has to be right is the function, and it is printed on every card above: the plain body, or the toilet, store and hotel variants. They fit the same hole, so a store-function body sent for a toilet door is a return rather than a fault. Order the function by name alongside the code.
Two more names worth translating at the counter. An entrance lock or main door lock is the entrance handle lock set — bigger backplate, heavier furniture, 6 sets per carton (70730-SN, 70730-AC, A-200-AC, A-380-AC, A-9950-SS, KB-10-AC). And a request for a heavy duty door lock for a shoplot, office or rental unit is the heavy duty cylindrical tier above, not the standard body. The premium lever locks (A-3300-AC/SS, A-5300-AC/SS, A-6300-AC/SS, A-6300-US) carry a solid brass cylinder, which is the answer when a buyer asks what is actually inside the lock.
A “digital cylinder lock” is a separate sub-range on this page rather than a variant of the bored-door family: the digital smart locks (A999, A2885DF) and the smart lever locks (B333ET-SN, B333ET-ORB) are listed on their own above. A-Class is a door lock supplier to the trade, so every code here is ordered by the carton and quoted per enquiry, never per piece.
