Set, head or hand shower?

A shower set is the complete assembly — head, hose, holder and arm as required. A shower head is the fixed overhead item alone, ordered when a customer is replacing a broken head on an existing arm. A hand shower is the handheld unit, usually supplied with hose. Stocking all three separately is what lets a shop serve a replacement job without selling a whole new set.

Which accessories move with the sets?

Shower arms in 300mm and 350mm with ø20mm, ABS holders in fixed and adjustable patterns, and hoses are the fastest-moving replacement lines in this category — a broken holder is a far more common counter enquiry than a failed head. They ship in large cartons (holders at 200 per carton) precisely because they turn over quickly.

ABS or brass and stainless — which shower sets to stock?

Both, in tiers. ABS is the volume tier: V9915 sets ship 200 to a carton, and ABS lines like the heavy-duty BS-512 rain head and the holders turn over as replacement stock. Above that sit the metal-valve lines — V2555 carries a 100% brass valve, and the single-lever shower mixers are SUS304. Rain heads run from 6″ round and square with arm (A4086, A1103) up to 8″ round and square (S5120, S5125), so a shop can cover both the budget shelf and the renovation counter from one order.

Hand shower sets: what ships in the box?

The set codes include the fittings: A-2777 packs the hand shower with flexible hose and wall holder, and A2888 is the same configuration in black. The bare hand shower (A-2117, 72 per carton) is the replacement line for customers whose hose and holder are still good. The SB-39 4-in-1 pressure shower adds three spray modes and a replaceable filter element — its cartridge (V3901) is stocked separately, which makes it repeat business rather than a one-off sale.

Shower set or shower system — what does a complete shower actually need?

A shower system is everything from the wall out: the mixer, the arm, the overhead head, and usually a hand shower with its hose and holder or rail. A shower set is the sub-assembly a customer buys to fill one part of that. A-Class supplies shower systems as components rather than as one boxed system, which is the point — it lets a shop replace a failed head or a cracked holder against a customer's existing mixer instead of selling a whole new installation.

Building one across the counter, the parts come from four places in this range:

• Mixer — the shower mixers (A-1802, A-1804, A-1807, A-1831, A-1835, A-1836, A-1842, A-1847), the single-lever pattern (A-1825, A-1826), or the SUS304 tier (A-31004, A-31005, and the single-lever A-31046).
• Arm — 300mm or 350mm, both ø20mm. The length decides how far the head sits off the wall, which is the measurement to confirm before ordering, not after.
• Overhead head — 112mm (A-0412), 150mm (A-1103, A-4086) or 200mm (S-5120, S-5125) in ABS, with the heavy-duty BS-512 rain head above them.
• Hand shower and holder — sets that ship with hose and holder (SB-8, A-2777, A-2888 in black), the bare hand showers for replacement work (SB-20, A-2117), fixed and adjustable ABS holders (SB-300, A-5577), or the adjustable sliding-rail set A-18366 where the head height has to suit more than one person.

For a shop, the useful stocking rule is that the failures are not evenly spread: holders and hoses break far more often than heads or mixers, so the replacement lines carry the counter while the mixers carry the renovation job.
