Sensor units (A-13006Z wall tap, A-13008Z WC flush valve) are touch-free, which reduces both water use and hand contact in high-traffic washrooms. They need a power source, and that is the question to settle before quoting.
Exposed manual valves — the A-316 WC dual flush and A-312 urinal flush — need no power and are far simpler to maintain. Dual flush gives the water saving without the electronics. For buildings without provision at each fixture, this is usually the practical specification.
A water closet flush valve is the mains-pressure valve that flushes a WC directly, in place of a cistern. These are commercial washroom fittings: they connect to exposed mains-pressure pipework in offices, schools, mosques, shopping centres and factory washrooms. They are not a drop-in for a domestic cistern WC — a home toilet flushes from its cistern, not from a pressure valve, so counter customers asking for a house replacement usually need a cistern fitting instead. Selling that distinction correctly avoids returns.
WC positions take the dual flush valve (full and half flush); urinal positions take the urinal flush valve; the sensor wall tap covers the basin row.
