The A-Class Ultra Pro 3500 is an outdoor membrane whole-house water filter with a SUS304 stainless housing and double backwash. It fits on the incoming supply and treats water to the whole house rather than a single tap — the specification for sediment, discolouration and rust carried in the mains supply. Full technical specifications are in the datasheet linked from the product above.

An outdoor whole-house unit treats every outlet: showers, washing machine, kitchen and bathroom taps. A point-of-use filter treats one tap. Where the customer's complaint is discoloured or rusty water staining laundry and sanitaryware, the problem is the incoming supply and the whole-house unit is the correct answer. Where the complaint is drinking-water taste, a point-of-use unit is the cheaper fix.
The double backwash function flushes trapped sediment out of the media rather than requiring the housing to be opened. Customers should be told at the point of sale that periodic backwashing is normal operation, and roughly how often for their water condition — it prevents a support call that sounds like a product failure but is a maintenance step never explained.
The Ultra Pro 3500 filters through a UF hollow-fibre membrane with 0.01-micron pores — a physical barrier, unlike the loose sand or multimedia beds in conventional outdoor filters. The manufacturer specification lists removal of dirt, dust, bacteria and viruses while preserving dissolved minerals, with the double backwash and daily flush system keeping the membrane serviceable instead of replaceable-on-clog.
The unit is rated 4,000 litres per hour, sized so a typical Malaysian double-storey home can draw from several outlets at once without starving the line. The housing is 100% SUS304 stainless at 105cm × 12cm — slim enough for the standard install position on the incoming main after the meter. Installers should still verify incoming pressure on-site as with any whole-house unit.
